Here’s to living free, and running wild.
I have one ultimate goal in life: to live a good one. Go ahead and call me a millennial–perhaps I am one. I’m not altogether convinced that these type of dreams and desires are so rare they can even be contained in such a small label.
I think they are, in fact, far more universal. We all seek fulfillment and adventure in life. It helps us feel alive, and it helps us grow as a person. Like so many, my passions stem from the most basic of human pursuit: happiness.
I want to reach towards the dreams that help define my own personal happiness, but I also want to find happiness in chasing them. That’s the illusiveness of it all, isn’t it?
On RWF I hope to share some of those things that make me happy. The outdoors. Fitness. The World. I hope to meet some interesting new people along the way as well. Perhaps you’ll be one of them?
My name is Jamie Ferrugiaro. I’m currently 32 years old. At present I am about to finish a Business Administration Associates and transferring to DeVry to major in Communications Design Management. I currently work full time in accounting for an awesome company.
I am an avid lover of coffee (see photo above). I run an Etsy shop called Junk Draw Designs during Christmas time making hand-painted ornaments. I’m toying with the idea of starting another shop.
I strive to be involved in giving back through non-profits and socially conscious organizations or businesses. I volunteer when I can doing marketing at the charity Amman Imman.
My adventures often find themselves in the outdoors–hiking, camping, fishing, running, and more. This passion came from my father, who taught me to hike, shoot, and passed down my love of these things.
I additionally enjoy running, and I’ve earned my blue belt in jiu jitsu, though I haven’t trained in a years.
